Terms and Conditions

The “Company”: Throughout these Terms & Conditions, "the Company" refers to Helen Emery, trading as 'Flourish & Fly'

‘Flourish & Fly' networking meetings are for women business owners only, including sole traders, partners, franchisees and independent consultants. Bookings are subject to verification and may be declined if the attendee does not meet these eligibility requirements. Any refund will be subject to the Refund Policy below.

1. Meeting Schedule & Location

• Standard Schedule: Meetings are generally held on the fourth Thursday of each month.
• Time: 9:30am – 12:00pm.
• Location: The King Charles pub, Kings Worthy.
• Changes: Should the date, time, or location need to be changed after a booking has been made, attendees will be offered a ticket transfer or a full refund at no additional charge.
• All meeting times are quoted in GMT or BST.

2. Community Standards

To ensure a supportive and productive environment for all members, attendees agree to:

• Respect & Kindness: Treat all fellow attendees with professional courtesy, respect, and kindness.
• Inclusive Environment: Foster a space where all women business owners feel welcome and heard.
• Conduct: ‘Flourish & Fly’ reserves the right to refuse entry or ask an attendee to leave if their conduct is considered disruptive, inappropriate or incosistent with these community values.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

3.1 Booking Errors If a ticket is booked incorrectly (e.g., for an employee who is not a business owner), refunds are at the discretion of the Company and subject to a £5 processing fee per ticket.

3.2 Postponed, Rescheduled, or Cancelled Events

• You will be notified via email, text, or call should an event be postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled.
• In the event of a full cancellation, you may transfer your ticket to a future ‘Flourish & Fly’ meeting or receive a full refund.
• Tickets are automatically transferred to the next available event unless you contact us to request a refund.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment card and typically arrive within 7-10 business days.

3.3 Ticket Transfers

• If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to a future available meeting.
• Transfer requests must be received in writing at least 12 hours before the meeting start time. Tickets cannot be transferred after this deadline, except at the discretion of 'Flourish & Fly''.
• Please submit transfer requests via email to hello@thepainteddragonfly.co.uk
• You may transfer your ticket to another woman business owner, provided you notify ‘Flourish & Fly’ before the meeting begins.

4. Photo & Media Release

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following:

• You grant ‘Flourish & Fly’ the right to use your image, likeness, and voice recordings from events without payment.
• These materials may be used for promotional purposes, including social media, newsletters, and the company website.
• If you do not wish to have your image used for such purposes, please let your host know before the meeting begins, where possible.
• The Company is not responsible for images or recordings taken and shared by other event attendees.

5. Due Diligence

Participants are responsible for performing their own due diligence before purchasing services or products from individuals they meet through ‘Flourish & Fly’. ‘Flourish & Fly’ does not verify the qualifications, credentials or legitimacy of attendees and accepts no liability for any loss arising from business relationships formed through the network.
